The Uniswap Foundation has unveiled Unichain, a DeFi-native Layer-2 network built on the OP Stack, designed to deliver fast, low-cost, and decentralized transactions while advancing Ethereum‘s scaling roadmap and providing a robust solution for multichain liquidity.

The Unichain Testnet is now live, enabling developers to build and test on the network, with the mainnet launching soon and featuring 1-second block times, soon to be reduced to 250ms.

About Unichain

Unichain delivers a fast and low-cost solution for decentralized finance, reducing transaction fees by 95% compared to Ethereum L1. Built on the Optimism Superchain, it supports native cross-chain interoperability for seamless swaps and liquidity transfers.

Step by step guide Unichain Airdrop

Get started by adding the Unichain Sepolia Testnet network to your wallet.

Claim testnet ETH from the Unichain Faucet or bridge from Ethereum Sepolia (L1) to Unichain Sepolia (L2) via the Unichain Superbridge.

Start developing by following the Building on Unichain guides for creating pools, deploying smart contracts, or launching ERC-20 tokens.

Check out the Node Setup Guide to set up a Unichain node, which runs on the OP Stack as part of the Superchain for seamless integration and scalability.
